Abu Dhabi Airports welcomed the new eased travel measures at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) where PCR test service upon arrival is now optional for travelers coming to the emirate. The PCR Test facility at AUH remains available in the same location as an optional service at AED 40 for passengers who would like to activate their green pass on Al Hosn App, which is mandatory to enter public places, tourist attractions, and other facilities in Abu Dhabi.

International connections

Catching a connecting flight is easy at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Where to go once you land at Abu Dhabi International Airport

After disembarking your plane, if your luggage is checked all the way through to your next destination, simply follow the signs to the Transit Desk.

If you need to collect your luggage, proceed to the Baggage hall and then pass through Immigration and Customs. You will then need to go to the Departures area of the correct terminal for the airline with which you are travelling. Find out which terminal to go to.

If you are moving between terminals to catch your next flight

Walking between any two terminal buildings at the airport should not take you more than 20 minutes, as all three terminals are adjacent to each other.

Terminal 2 is approximately 2km from Terminal 1.

In order to ensure the highest levels of passenger security, each terminal has a security check area at each point of entry, so you will need to go through security again if you have moved between terminals.
