Abu Dhabi Airports welcomed the new eased travel measures at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) where PCR test service upon arrival is now optional for travelers coming to the emirate. The PCR Test facility at AUH remains available in the same location as an optional service at AED 40 for passengers who would like to activate their green pass on Al Hosn App, which is mandatory to enter public places, tourist attractions, and other facilities in Abu Dhabi.

What do you need for passport control

Procedures

Passport Control

Make sure your documents are in order for when you go through Passport Control.

Please ensure that your passport is valid for the duration of your trip. Some countries will only allow you entry if your passport is valid for six months or more. Also note that visa, transit and entry requirements differ from country to country and can be changed with little or no notice. We strongly recommend that you contact the embassy or consulate of each country you will be visiting to obtain the most up to date information.

Smart Travel

From check-in to aircraft boarding, passengers traveling through Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) can now do so without having any human contact. The ‘Smart Travel’ initiative implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police, allows passengers to check-in and move through immigration and security, interacting only with innovative technology. ‘Smart Travel’ decreases processing times within the airport by up to 70%, which means less time in queues and more time to shop, dine and unwind!
