Welcome Ramadan
Like the rest of the Muslim world, Ramadan is a special time for people in the UAE and Abu Dhabi. During Ramadan there are two traditional feasts that Muslims enjoy; Suhour, which is the feast before the sunrise, and Iftar, which is the meal to break the fast at sunset.

In the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) will be distributing 10,500 Iftar meals to passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) throughout the month. Each day of Ramadan, immediately before the Maghrib prayers, approximately 350 Iftar meals will be distributed to travelers arriving and departing through Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Visitors to Abu Dhabi are encouraged to be sensitive to the fasting period during Ramadan, but also enjoy the traditional customs and celebrations.
