Four subsidiaries including Abu Dhabi Airport Services (ADAS), Abu Dhabi Cargo Company (ADACC), Abu Dhabi In-flight Catering (ADIFC) and Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) will be represented through individual pods reflecting the updated brand with associated logos, and will include visual presentations relating to their area of business.
The ADAC stand will also feature an information kiosk – a direct representation of the popular communication portals utilized at Abu Dhabi International Airport, in addition to display units showcasing exclusive and one off pieces of merchandise available through the premium branded boutiques and other luxury retail outlets.
Showcasing Abu Dhabi International Airport as a world-class gateway for a world-class city, the ADAC stand at the exhibition will also demonstrate the efforts made by the organisation in reaching out to the Abu Dhabi community through the employment, educational and environmental initiatives. As part of this commitment to the holistic development of the city, a special needs spokesperson will be present at the exhibition stand throughout the show.
HE Khalifa Al Mazrouei, ADAC Chairman, said:
“ADAC values any opportunity in which we can showcase our commitment to developing Abu Dhabi as a world class city in its own right, and as such are thrilled to be participating in ADIHEX this year. As well as developing our corporate profile, we look forward to taking advantage of such popularity in assisting our passengers on a more personal level, so as to maintain our award winning customer service and dedication to a quality service across all our airports.”
ADIHEX is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club. The show is organized by the Emirates Falconers’ Club in collaboration with Turret Middle East and supported by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage.
This national event attracts over 95,000 visitors and aims to acquaint them with the deep-rooted traditions of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The show includes camel and horse auctions, saluki beauty contests, art competitions and traditional hunting activities. It provides visitors with the opportunity to purchase the latest camping, hunting, equestrian and weaponry equipment.

About Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC):
Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is a public joint-stock company wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi Government. It was incorporated by Amiri Decree number 5, issued on 4th March 2006, to spearhead the development of the Emirate's aviation infrastructure.
In September 2006 ADAC took over responsibility for the operation and management of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain international Airports. In 2008, ADAC added Al Bateen private jet airport, formerly Al Bateen military airbase, and Sir Baniyas Island Airport to its portfolio. These airports all serve different segments of the marketplace and help contribute to Abu Dhabi’s development as a destination for both business and leisure tourism.
Currently under way is the large scale AED 25 (US $6.8) billion re-development and expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport designed to increase the overall capacity of the airport to more than 20 million passengers per year. As part of this redevelopment, a second runway and a third terminal have been completed. A new ATC tower and the Midfield Terminal Complex will complete the redevelopment within the next few years.
