The ceremonial signing of the MoU took place last week at the Paris Air Show, Le Bourget, where ADAC announced a landmark agreement between the Al Ain Aerospace Cluster and the BavAIRia Aerospace cluster, to develop a major aerospace centre within the Middle East.

The MoU between ADAC and Telair will see the company utilise its extensive network within the aircraft manufacturing and airline industry, to assist in the development of Al Ain International Airport and related facilities. This will be achieved via core sector activities including business activities in manufacturing, assembly, repair and overhaul of cargo and baggage handling systems and components.

HE Khalifa Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADAC, said:

"The signing of this MoU's is further evidence of ADAC's firm commitment to the development of the aerospace cluster in Al Ain. We are delighted to be joining forces with such a high quality company such as Telair, to create a vibrant and prosperous industry sector that will contribute to the growth and diversification of economies both here and in Germany."

Signing on behalf of Telair, Axel Hauner, President of Telair, said:

"We are both delighted and excited to be entering this MoU with ADAC. Al Ain Airport is already developing as the region's hub for low-cost carrier and cargo services, and we believe with its excellent location and easy connectivity, it has the potential for significant expansion."

Telair has served the airline industry for more than 40 years and throughout this period it has transformed itself into the premier "one-stop shop" for all cargo-handling solutions. Telair and its companion companies provide wide body cargo loading, narrow body cargo loading, cargo containment products and aftermarket services. Telair is also a market leader in actuators for commercial and military aircraft.
